Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Report any damaged or incorrect items found during picking.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the warehouse operations.
- This role involves regular walking, standing, and frequent Lifting of items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting.
- A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all warehouse regulations.
Your consistent focus on Safety and proper use of PPE is vital. We are a key player in the regional logistics network.
