Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track outgoing shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Verify package contents and quantities against shipping orders.
- Ensure packages are properly packaged, sealed, and labeled.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Maintain shipping logs and records.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- This position requires moderate Lifting of packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting and standing.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all policies.
