We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker for our Kansas City, Missouri location. This position is integral to our logistics and distribution efforts, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks, including receiving and inspecting inbound shipments, accurately stocking inventory, efficiently picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, you will receive comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques, proper equipment operation, and the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock and organize merchandise in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and adjustments.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a strong advantage.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Willingness to wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
