We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker for our Seattle, Washington facility. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations by accurately retrieving products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your responsibilities will include using scanning equipment to locate and pick items, ensuring correct quantities, and preparing them for the packing station. Safety is our top priority; therefore, you will be trained on proper lifting techniques, safe operation of equipment, and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to identify and track inventory.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Properly use PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues promptly.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous order picking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics is a plus.
