We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our logistics hub in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure the integrity of our inventory and the efficiency of our supply chain operations. You will be the first point of contact for inbound goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, identifying damages, and ensuring that all items are properly logged into our system. This position requires organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, and maintain a clean and organized receiving area. We expect our Receiving Clerks to uphold the highest safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular lifting and moving of packages and materials, so physical stamina is necessary. You must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight.
- Verify quantities against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Document all discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Enter received goods into the inventory management system.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move and stage received products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock area.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform regular duties requiring lifting and physical handling of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and possesses a strong work ethic.
