Join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota as an Order Picker! We are seeking diligent and efficient individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. Your role will be central to ensuring our clients receive their products correctly and on time. Responsibilities include locating items within the warehouse, picking them accurately using scanning devices, and preparing them for dispatch. This fast-paced position demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and precisely, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You'll be instrumental in maintaining inventory integrity through precise scanning and prompt reporting of any discrepancies. The job involves considerable physical exertion, including walking, stooping, reaching, and frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs. A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with team members is highly valued. Strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Experience with warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations.
- Utilize scanners to track picked items and maintain inventory records.
- Package orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure all orders are labeled correctly for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Perform regular duties requiring significant lifting and physical movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret pick tickets and item numbers accurately.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Understanding of logistics principles is a bonus.
