Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in our state-of-the-art distribution center located in Durham, North Carolina. We are looking for a proactive individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics success, ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and recommending improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience with inventory management systems. Safety is a core value; therefore, strict adherence to all safety policies and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment for professionals looking to grow within the logistics industry. You will collaborate with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations. ResponsResponsibilities include: executing daily and weekly cycle counts, reconciling inventory variances, investigating the root causes of discrepancies, maintaining accurate data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), assisting in physical inventory counts, and developing reports on inventory accuracy and status. This role involves frequent lifting and moving of materials, so physical capability is important.
