We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Material Handler to join our warehouse operations in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the movement and organization of goods within the facility. Your duties will include picking, packing, stocking, and transporting materials to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment. This position is integral to our Logistics chain, demanding physical stamina and a dedication to Safety. We expect all employees to adhere to company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves and in designated areas.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics operations.
- Ensure proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Good understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and company guidelines.
- Must be able to wear and use mandated PPE.
