Job Summary:
Our Richmond, Virginia facility is looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory items.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely flow of goods.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with cycle counting methodologies.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure inventory environment.
