We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Concord, ON
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to Client Services team, guaranteeing the timely and budget-compliant completion of project requirements and deliverables.
- Directly coordinate the efficient scheduling of field resources, including equipment and personnel, with the Customer, ensuring the work falls within the scope of the work order, site contacts, health and safety protocols, parking, etc.
- Manage the coordination of hotel bookings, car rentals, and other field related activities.
- Ensure field staff receive comprehensive Job Packages before site deployment, detailing the project number, work scope, essential information for objective achievement, deliverables, and timelines.
- Track and ensure quality control of field deliverables before they are sent to the project manager.
- Manage coordination of project vendor deliverables, such as laboratory certificates of analysis, serving as the primary operational liaison for GEMS with vendors and contractors.
- Oversee the preparation of sampling container sets for commercial laboratories, ensuring compliance with laboratory specifications.
- Diligently monitor and oversee laboratory stock to facilitate efficient field deployment, accurate billing, and optimal stock and equipment usage.
- Provide essential support to GEMS field staff, including technical assistance, coaching, and professional development as needed.
- Foster and participate in a Health & Safety culture.
- Maintain training, qualifications and professional designation(s), as required.
- Any other reasonable activity required by management/leadership.
Education and Experience:
- Post Secondary Degrees in a related field
- 3 years of experience in environmental field
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
- Passion for finding solutions and exceptional customer service
- Valid G Driver's License
- Proficient in MS software
