Home Support Worker

Ambient Home Care is looking to hire reliable Personal Support Workers/ Health Care Aides, for the Norton and surrounding areas. Experience working with seniors is required.

Only those who currently live in this area will be considered for an interview.

Shifts are mainly evenings and weekends, to start.

Education

• High School Diploma
• PSW , Health Care Aide or Similar Education is an Asset

Duties:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Light housekeeping
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Medication Reminders
• Companionship
• Errands/appointments

Required

• First Aid and CPR Certificate ( willingness to obtain)
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Social Development Record Check
• Reliable means of transportation
• Knowledge and use of a mobile phone
