Lead Sales Solution Specialist
The Lead Sales Solution Specialist is a mid-level position designed for individuals with foundational experience in sales engineering or customer-facing technical roles who are eager to expand their expertise. You will work closely with the HERE Sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle through gathering requirements, designing, validating, and helping implement solutions that address industry-specific, location-related business challenges. As part of the HERE Business & Solution Architecture team, youll enable customers to achieve their business objectives through HEREs products and services. This role primarily supports HERE Direct Sales teams across diverse industries, including transportation, logistics, mobility, supply chain, and the US public sector. This role is ideal for candidates who have 2-3 years of relevant experience and are motivated to further develop their skills in geospatial technology, solution architecture, and cloud services. Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical consultant to customers and HERE Account Executives during presales activities, leading technical discovery by identifying and documenting customer requirements and objectives Demonstrate HERE technologies through demos, proofs of concept, and implementation support Design and present solution architectures using HEREs platform, APIs, and partner offerings Develop proof-of-concept solutions and support customers in evaluating datasets and validating use cases Collaborate with internal teams to represent customer needs and inform product development Stay current with technology trends and contribute to solution briefs for go-to-market efforts Who Are You?
An independent, quick learner who enjoys hands-on technology work and collaborating with customers. Comfortable working within a large complex organization and seeking out answers through collaboration. Motivated to grow your technical and sales skills in a supportive environment. Required Qualifications
2-3 years experience in sales engineering or a customer-facing technical role (pre- or post-sales) BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or GIS Familiarity with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (RDBMS or NoSQL) Experience with Desktop and web based GIS IE ArcGIS, QGIS, etc Understanding of data architectures and cloud services Excellent communication skills, from technical whiteboarding to executive presentations Preferred Qualifications
Experience with geospatial information systems (GIS) and location services Experience implementing location services into enterprise applications Experience with Public Sector and/or Fleet Logistics sales Mobile development experience (Android/iOS) The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $138,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a target annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
