*Role*
We are looking for a talented Mid-weight UX/UI Designer to join our growing team in Brighton. This role will focus on improving and migrating our platforms across Ecommerce and client portals, creating seamless, user-friendly digital experiences that are both functional and visually engaging. You will have access to research and analytical tools to help inform design decisions and ensure we deliver customer-centric outcomes.This is a key role in the team for the coming year with a number of sites being redesigned for migration and this role will need to work cohesively between the trading, design and development team to deliver the best possible customer experience and commercial results.
*Salary Range*: £35 – 40 k/annum
*Reporting to*: Senior Designer
*Level*: Marketing
*Office Hours*: 37.5 hr week. However, due to the nature of this role hours will need to be flexible to maximise opportunities which means out of hours work when required.
*Location:* Brighton, UK.
Office based or hybrid - Min 3 days/week in office

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Design and deliver intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces across multiple platforms.
· Contribute to the migration and optimisation of websites and portals to improve usability, accessibility, and conversion.
· Use research insights, testing, and analytics to validate and guide design decisions.
· Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
· Create and maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma.
*Required Qualifications & Experience:*
· Formal UX/UI design training
· At least 3 years proven experience in UX/UI design, ideally within Ecommerce or digital product environments.
· Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
· Proficiency in Figma, including creating prototypes and design systems.
· Familiarity with user testing, usability testing, customer journey mapping, persona development
· Proficient in CRO incl. A/B testing , IA, mobile and navigation design
· Ability to interpret data and research insights to drive design outcomes.
· Strong communication, project management and collaboration skills.
· Attention to detail and a passion for solving user problems through design.
· Analytical and metric oriented
*Preferred*
· Knowledge of Magento, Umbraco, Kentico, WordPress, Klavyio. Monday.com
· Experience of agile processes and change management
· Experience in retail, home décor, lifestyle brands
