Our Miami, Florida facility is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our stock levels. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to optimize inventory processes. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to take ownership of inventory management within a dynamic company. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
- Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, turns, and accuracy.
- Ensure all necessary PPE is used correctly and consistently.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with inventory management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting. Knowledge of warehouse logistics and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Commitment to workplace Safety. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively. Must adhere to all PPE requirements.
