We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. You will play a vital role in optimizing inventory levels, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring the overall integrity of our stock. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient put-away and picking processes.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Assist with receiving and shipping reconciliation as needed.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
