We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential to our order fulfillment process, requiring precision and speed in selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will use RF scanners and other technology to locate products, ensure order accuracy, and package items safely and efficiently. Our Logistics operations depend on the diligence and accuracy of our team members. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is mandatory, and all employees are required to use provided PPE . The job involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to track inventory.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics and fulfillment center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
- Physical capacity for standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and the importance of PPE .
- Basic understanding of Logistics and inventory processes.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
