We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational efficiency and safety. You will operate various warehouse equipment, assist with inventory management, and ensure that all products are handled with care. Your contributions are essential to the smooth operation of our supply chain. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and operating machinery safely. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Meet productivity targets for various warehouse functions.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting, carrying, and moving of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification a plus).
- Proficiency in inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
