We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and tracking outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are shipped correctly and on time. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of shipping procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for verifying shipping information, selecting appropriate packaging materials, and coordinating with carriers. A commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This position involves significant interaction with various departments, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. Attention to detail in managing documentation and maintaining accurate shipping records is essential. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role offers a great opportunity for growth within our logistics company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing daily shipment orders, confirming order accuracy, preparing shipping labels and documentation, scheduling carrier pickups, tracking shipments, and reporting any discrepancies or issues. Must be comfortable with lifting packages of varying weights and sizes. Understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
