We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling inventory data. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and management teams to uphold inventory integrity and support overall warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management software and possess excellent data entry skills. We emphasize safety in all our operations, and adherence to safety protocols is paramount. Proper PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times. This position involves frequent lifting and requires the ability to manage stock with care. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading logistics provider.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely inventory counts (cycle counts, physical inventories).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or overages.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in ongoing training related to logistics and inventory management.
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in WMS or similar inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
