Join our dynamic warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Material Handler. We are looking for a diligent and physically capable individual to manage the movement of goods within our facility. This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently to support production and shipping demands. You will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts if certified).
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Move, sort, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes by preparing materials for transit.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring clear pathways for safety.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support inventory management through accurate placement and identification of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, consistently throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in using manual and powered material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control concepts.
