We are seeking diligent and motivated Warehouse Workers to join our logistics hub in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth flow of goods within our facility. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately stocking inventory, picking orders, packing items for shipment, and loading outbound trucks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company and industry safety standards, including the correct use of PPE. This role involves significant lifting, with the capacity to handle items up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods into designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload trucks for outbound and inbound shipments.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
- Support overall logistics operations.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Understanding of warehouse safety best practices. Must be a team player and able to work independently. Strict adherence to PPE requirements and general safety guidelines is mandatory.
