We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics operation in Jacksonville, Florida. This fast-paced role is critical in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking a variety of products from our warehouse shelves using advanced scanning technology and preparing them for shipment. Meticulous attention to detail is required to guarantee order accuracy and minimize returns. Your duties will also include carefully packaging items to prevent damage during transit, applying shipping labels, and staging completed orders for pickup. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is a key aspect of this position. You must be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications using scanners.
- Verify picked items against customer orders for accuracy.
- Package items securely to protect them during shipping.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation.
- Conduct final quality checks before orders are dispatched.
- Keep work stations clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping goals.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment is a plus. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift. Strong commitment to accuracy and detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE is mandatory.
