Summary

We are seeking an Live-in Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our compassionate team in providing outstanding support to our clients. Located in Canada, this role is vital in delivering personalized care that aligns with our mission of enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal support and assistance with daily living activities.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as required.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition management.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding client progress and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications Valid Personal Support Worker certification or equivalent experience.

• Experience in senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
• Ability to manage medication administration effectively.
• Nursing Experience is not mandatory however will be considered an asset
• Experience in caregiving and home care settings is strongly preferred.
• Basic housekeeping skills are an asset.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to speak and communicate in Portuguese.
