*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to oversee project lifecycle from initiation to closure. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, program development, and process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure successful delivery aligned with organizational goals. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for driving project success and fostering continuous improvement.
*Duties*
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet; manage schedules using Kanban, Trello, or Jira.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform requirements analysis to define project scope and objectives clearly.
* Apply project management methodologies including PMBOK, Waterfall, Scrum (SAFe), and Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and outcomes.
* Conduct risk management activities by identifying potential issues through root cause analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of assets.
* Oversee vendor management and contracts to ensure quality deliverables and compliance with organizational standards.
* Utilize data analysis skills for performance measurement using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques; report progress through dashboards and presentations.
* Facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles; implement process mapping, business process modeling, and process management strategies.
* Lead change management efforts to support organizational transformation initiatives; foster team management and conflict resolution practices.
* Ensure adherence to IT infrastructure standards and integration with enterprise systems like SharePoint, Salesforce, ERP systems, or Content Management Systems where applicable.
*Experience*
* Proven track record of managing large-scale projects within a complex organizational environment; minimum of 8 years in project management roles.
* Extensive experience supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
* Strong background in program development, program portfolio management, and project lifecycle management.
* Demonstrated expertise in risk management, scope management, time management, budgeting, and quality assurance processes.
* Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence or equivalent tools like Basecamp or Workday.
* Skilled in technical writing for documentation purposes including reports on project status or process documentation.
* Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or SAFe is highly desirable; familiarity with PMBOK standards is required.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels; adept at presentation skills for executive reporting.
* Strong organizational skills coupled with vendor management experience; capable of managing IT infrastructure projects or product lifecycle initiatives. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $63.34 - $78.91 per hour
