RN - Utilization Review - *EVENINGS* at Providence Health and Services summary: The Utilization Review Nurse evaluates patient care and admission status to ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, supporting utilization management programs. This role requires a Registered Nurse license and experience in nursing, utilization review, or care management. The position is full-time, based in Providence St. Peter Hospital, and offers competitive benefits and compensation including shift differentials and bonuses. The Utilization Review (UR) Nurse has a strong clinical background blended with well-developed knowledge and skills in Utilization Management (UM), medical necessity and patient status determination. This individual supports the UM program by developing and maintaining effective, efficient processes for determining the appropriate admission status based on regulatory and reimbursement requirements of commercial and government payers.
