Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Durham, North Carolina! In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of our warehouse operations, managing the inflow and outflow of goods. Your responsibilities will include accurately receiving shipments, inspecting goods for damage, organizing inventory, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. This position is integral to our Logistics network, ensuring that products are handled with care and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety .
