We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing all inbound goods. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring a smooth flow of materials into the warehouse. You will work closely with our inventory control and shipping departments to resolve any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety protocols. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual. Attention to detail is paramount, as errors in receiving can cascade throughout the supply chain. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety. Regular lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and opportunities for growth within our expanding logistics network.
