We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, identifying, and stocking incoming materials, as well as picking and preparing outgoing orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Accurately document all material movements using our inventory management system.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment according to order specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring proper storage and placement of materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse machinery.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to job duties.
