Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
  • Operate equipment safely when necessary for testing or repairs, adhering to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to address operational needs and equipment concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for equipment efficiency and safety.
  • Ability to assist with lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs when necessary.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role. Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications or vocational training are a plus.
