Join our growing team in Portland, Oregon, as a Picker/Packer! This dynamic role is essential to our fulfillment center's success, directly impacting our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. We maintain a strong focus on Safety, and all team members are trained on safe work practices and required to use appropriate PPE. If you are a detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a collaborative team, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics operations and ensure that orders are processed accurately and promptly. Your performance will be key to maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and review picking lists or digital orders.
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote Safety and efficiency.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and utilize all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to perform continuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics principles is a plus.
