We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our state-of-the-art facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks critical to our daily operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and as such, adherence to all safety protocols is paramount. You will work closely with your team to meet daily production goals and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory and orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet performance targets.
- Properly use required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is a plus.
