We are seeking a proactive Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a DC Associate, you will be involved in the core functions of our logistics operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is fundamental to ensuring the accurate and timely movement of inventory through our distribution center. We value teamwork and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store merchandise in appropriate locations within the distribution center.
- Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and order manifests.
- Pack orders securely to ensure product protection during transit.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role. A commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Working Conditions:
This position operates within a large distribution center. The role requires significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, moving, and standing for long hours. Appropriate PPE will be provided, and compliance with all safety standards is a mandatory aspect of the job.
