We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics hub. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. Experience with pallet jacks and hand trucks is a plus. We value safety above all else and expect all team members to adhere to our strict safety protocols. This includes the proper use of all required PPE. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Team player.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
