Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Richmond, Virginia! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art warehouse. This role is essential to our **Logistics** network, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and upholding our commitment to **Safety** and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all **Safety** regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Support **Logistics** operations by meeting productivity and quality standards.
- This position requires **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Logistics** and inventory management principles.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and **Lifting**.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to **Safety**.
