Join our expanding logistics network as an Order Picker in Portland, Oregon! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary role will be to accurately select products from our warehouse shelves, ensuring that each order is picked correctly and on time. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail. You will be trained to use various warehouse equipment and handheld scanning devices to navigate our inventory efficiently. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all associates are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize the provided PPE diligently. This role involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order details and pick sheets.
- Scan items using RF devices to ensure correct product selection and quantity.
- Verify picked items against order requirements before staging.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE use.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repetitively.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
- Understanding of logistics operations in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to consistently wear and use required PPE.
