Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual looking for a challenging role? We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator for our Minneapolis, Minnesota location. This key position involves overseeing various warehouse functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring that all processes align with our logistics standards. This role requires strong leadership potential, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Manage inventory levels and accuracy, implementing effective control measures.
- Oversee the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics framework.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of Safety awareness.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices, including proper material handling and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational performance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all staff utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with broader business objectives.
- Manage the upkeep and organization of the warehouse facility.
- Handle Lifting requirements as needed, up to 50 lbs, demonstrating safe practices.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Willingness to enforce and adhere to PPE requirements.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including moderate Lifting.
