We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that our clients receive their correct items in a timely manner. You will work closely with other warehouse staff, including receivers and packers, to maintain a smooth workflow. Your primary duties will involve operating a pallet jack, using handheld scanners to track inventory, and verifying product details against order sheets. Strong attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding position that requires standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. We are committed to a safe working environment and provide ongoing training on best practices in warehouse operations and logistics. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required. - Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product accuracy against order slips.
- Pack items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Proper use of PPE is required at all times.
- Must be comfortable with regular lifting.
