Responsibilities include performing pre-operation inspections on forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and accurately recording inventory movements. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and other goods to and from designated areas.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Accurately record inventory data and movement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
