Are you ready to be the backbone of our warehouse operations in Phoenix, Arizona? We are looking for motivated Material Handlers to join our energetic team! As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport materials. A strong commitment to workplace safety is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all guidelines and utilize the required PPE at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 70 pounds. Experience with warehouse equipment and a valid forklift certification are highly desirable. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and possess a strong work ethic. This is a hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day logistics of our facility. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE .
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Perform tasks requiring significant lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting , bending, and standing.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and willingness to use PPE .
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
