Our busy distribution center in Sacramento, California is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately tracking and managing inventory levels, performing cycle counts, and assisting with receiving and put-away processes. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a well-organized stockroom. Experience with inventory management software is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes. You will be working closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure seamless operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment for all our employees. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE will be strictly enforced. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Document all inventory movements and discrepancies.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage stock levels.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional lifting .
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
