We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, timely, and handled with the utmost care. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping labels, verifying order details against shipping manifests, coordinating with carriers for pick-ups, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational efficiency. You'll work closely with warehouse associates and management to streamline shipping processes and minimize errors. Strong communication skills are essential as you'll interact with various departments and external partners. Adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ability to handle occasional Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs will be necessary.
