We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and within budget. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse processes, improving productivity, and fostering a positive work environment. This leadership position requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and Logistics . Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
- Oversee inventory management, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment processes.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, focusing on Safety and efficiency.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage operational costs and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production and delivery goals.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all PPE requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
- Resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics . Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Must be capable of occasional heavy Lifting . Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment is a plus.
