We are seeking reliable Picker/Packers for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This essential role involves accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct products are picked, carefully packaged to prevent damage, and labeled accurately for delivery. This position is key to our efficient Logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. We prioritize employee well-being, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary PPE and trained in comprehensive Safety procedures. The job requires standing for long hours, frequent movement, and the ability to handle moderate Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product protection.
- Package items securely and efficiently.
- Verify shipping addresses and apply correct labels.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Use designated PPE at all times.
- Support overall Logistics efficiency through prompt order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Manual dexterity for careful packing.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to follow all Safety protocols and wear PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics .
