As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods through our facility. This role demands precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. You will work with various materials and equipment, ensuring that everything moves smoothly through the supply chain. - Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store received goods in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.
- Select items for orders based on specific instructions, utilizing order pickers.
- Package items for safe transport, ensuring they meet shipping standards.
- Operate material handling equipment with proficiency and safety.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Uphold all workplace safety standards and utilize necessary PPE.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Must be able to manage physical demands, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of distribution and logistics principles.
- A strong commitment to safety procedures.
