As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for inspecting, documenting, and organizing all incoming shipments. A strong focus on safety is paramount, and all employees must utilize provided PPE . The job involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Accuracy and attention to detail are key. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Document all received items accurately in the inventory system.
- Organize and store received inventory in designated areas.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Support the broader warehouse and logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, shipping, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
