In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will coordinate with carriers, maintain shipping records, and manage shipping supplies. - Prepare and process all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify shipment details against orders and invoices.
- Schedule pickups with shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and documentation.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Manage shipping supplies and reorder as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assist with receiving and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and general computer applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Physical capability for occasional lifting and moving of packages.
- Understanding of safety best practices and the use of PPE.
