Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick orders.
- Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing or further processing.
- Maintain organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity standards for order picking.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damages to supervision.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Support the overall logistics and distribution process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and correct PPE usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
