We are looking for a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our team in vibrant Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be the backbone of our outgoing shipments, ensuring everything leaves our facility in perfect order. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that products reach their destinations promptly and without issue. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with warehouse staff and external partners to streamline the shipping process. We provide a supportive work environment and competitive compensation. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare shipping orders and documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Verify shipping information for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory of shipping supplies.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Operate shipping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, adhering to safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with various shipping carriers and methods.
- Capability to perform some lifting and be mindful of safety protocols.
