Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety standards.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Must ensure all team members adhere to PPE requirements.
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
