We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Portland, Oregon. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly impacting our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory systems, and implementing effective control procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Track and report on inventory levels, identifying stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in inventory management.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
  • Ensure appropriate use of PPE in all inventory-related tasks.
  • This role may involve occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse.
